Tomas Hirst
EUROPEAN CREDIT STRATEGIST

Tomas joined CreditSights in 2016 as an analyst on the European strategy team, focusing on euro and sterling credit. Prior to joining the firm, Tomas worked as global homepage editor at Bloomberg and before that as a commissioning editor at The World Economic Forum. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Oxford.

Neill Keaney
SENIOR ANALYST – EUROPEAN HY RETAIL & CONSUMER

Neill joined CreditSights in 2018 as a Senior Analyst in the European High Yield Group focusing on Consumer and Retail businesses. Neill has over a decade of experience within the Leveraged Finance Market in Europe on both the sell side and most recently as a Portfolio Manager on the buy side. Prior to that, Neill was a senior credit trader at BNP covering European Consumer, Retail and Travel issuers. Neill began his career at UBS in 2005. He holds a Masters in Business Studies from University College Dublin and a BA in Psychology, also from UCD.

Andrew Belton
SENIOR ANALYST – GLOBAL BUILDING MATERIALS & CONSTRUCTION, EUROPEAN BASICS AND SUPPORT

Andrew joined CreditSights in April 2006 as Senior Analyst. He directly covers the Global Building Materials & Construction sectors, as well as coordinating European Basic Industries coverage at CreditSights. He also oversees the team that covers the European Chemicals and European Support Services sectors.  Andrew joined from Citigroup, where he was Head of European Ratings Advisory, helping rated and unrated issuers to present their credit story to the Rating Agencies, and providing ratings related advice to the bank’s Capital Markets business. His experience at Citigroup included a diverse set of industrial issuers including (amongst others): hotels and leisure, transport infrastructure, capital goods, and in particular, building materials. Prior to joining Citigroup in 1996, Andrew was a corporate analyst at the rating agency IBCA (now part of Fitch Ratings). He started his career at Hambros Bank in 1988, where he worked as Deputy Head of Credit Analysis within the Corporate Banking franchise. Andrew was awarded an MA in Finance and Investment from Exeter University and also holds a BA (Hons) in Economics from Coventry University.
