We are delighted to invite you to a mid-year roundtable followed by a Chicago Cubs game.

At this in-person event, CreditSights analysts will discuss the latest market trends, share picks and pans, and present outlooks for the second half of the year. People will be able to ask questions and engage directly with the analysts.

After the roundtable, we will watch the Chicago Cubs play the Philadelphia Phillies from rooftop seats overlooking Wrigley Field. Complimentary food and beverages will be provided.

Winnie Cisar

Global Head of Strategy

Winnie is the Global Head of Strategy at CreditSights. Prior to joining CreditSights, Winnie was a Managing Director and the Head of Credit Strategy for Wells Fargo, leading the research teams focused on the corporate investment grade and leveraged finance markets. At Wells Fargo, Winnie developed the leveraged finance strategy product, rolling out coverage on high yield, leveraged loans and the distressed market. With more than 10 years of experience in institutional research, Winnie has emerged as one of the leading voices in corporate credit strategy and is a frequent guest on CNBC, Bloomberg, NPR and Yahoo Finance. Winnie began her career in investment banking, covering energy and power companies. She also spent time in high yield research, focused on health care, and high yield trading.

Winnie graduated from Emory College with a B.A. in International Studies and completed her JD/MBA at the Emory School of Law and Goizueta Business School. Winnie is a member of the North Carolina and Illinois Bar Associations. Winnie was selected as one of Charlotte Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 and was one of 12 women invited to participate in Bloomberg’s New Voices program.

James Goldstein, CFA

Senior Retail and Gaming Analyst

James has been with CreditSights since 2004, and after rotating through the Chemical and Food & Beverage sectors, he came to focus on the US Retail sector starting in 2007. In 2018, his role was expanded to include coverage for US Casino & Gaming operators. Prior to CreditSights, he held a number roles at Ernst & Young and the BBC, and also co-founded an internet startup in the very early days of streaming media. James received a Bachelors of Arts in Economics from Hamilton College in 1997. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the New York Society of Securities Analysts.

Charles Johnston, CFA

Senior Energy Infrastructure (MLPs) and HY E&Ps Analyst

Charles is the Senior Analyst responsible for coverage of investment grade and high yield MLP/Energy Infrastructure names, as well as high yield E&Ps. After building out CreditSights coverage of high yield Midstream and Canadian Midstream names, he assumed coverage of the full MLP/Energy Infrastructure sector from Andy Devries in January 2016. He also became responsible for CreditSights IG E&P research in early 2019, which this transitioned to high yield E&Ps after the COVID driven downturn resulted in core E&P coverage losing investment grade ratings. Charles joined CreditSights in 2012 and previous coverage includes primary responsibility for Coal Producers as they moved from high yield to distressed and into bankruptcy and secondary coverage for Independent Power Producers. Prior to joining CreditSights, he worked in equity research at Telsey Advisory Group. Charles received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from University of Central Florida and his Master of Science in Finance from Florida International University. Charles is a member of the New York Society of Securities Analysts and a CFA Charterholder.

Hunter Martin, CFA

Senior Media and Cable Analyst

Hunter joined CreditSights in 2019 and is responsible for coverage of the US IG Media and Cable sectors. Prior to joining, Hunter spent nearly 14 years at BNP Paribas as a Senior TMT Analyst in both New York and London. Most recently, Hunter was a Director covering the US IG and HY TMT sectors on BNP Paribas’ credit trading desk in New York. Previously, Hunter was named to Institutional Investor’s All-Europe Fixed Income Team for his coverage of the European IG TMT sector. Hunter received his bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics from New York University’s Stern School of Business and his master’s degree in Finance and Economics from the London School of Economics. Hunter is a CFA charterholder.
