CreditSights Adds New Senior Analysts, Builds Out Special Situations Coverage

NEW YORK, N.Y. (16 June, 2022) – CreditSights, Inc., the independent voice of credit markets, is pleased to announce the recent additions to their Special Situations research and reporting team in Jory Eisenberg, Peter Sakon and Teri Buhl.

Jory Eisenberg joined CreditSights in May of 2022 as a Senior Analyst focused on special situations and distressed credits. Prior to this he was employed at Emigrant Business Credit Corp. where he has focused on middle-market private credit transactions. Previously, he had spent 12 years at Elliott Management Corporation where he pursued investments across the capital structure in public and private equity and credit as well as non-correlated bespoke investment strategies. He began his career at Bear Stearns where he assisted with the arrangement of structured credit derivative products. Jory is a CFA Charterholder and a Certified FRM, graduating from the Wharton School with a B.S. Economics, finance and management concentrations.

Peter Sakon has joined as a Senior Analyst and brings extensive experience investing in special situations during his time as a at Alden Global Capital, Ellington Management Group, OFS Management, Par-Four Investment Management and HSBC Global Asset Management. He earned a BA Finance at Ball State University.

Also joining CreditSights as part of this effort to more fully cover Special Situations is Teri Buhl who will be a Senior Reporter. Teri has covered the financial markets for 15 years, exposing fraud in everything from small and large cap companies to misconduct by the hedge funds that trade our markets. Her reporting has led to government investigations resulting in criminal convictions, shareholder class action lawsuits and SEC bans. Frontline made a movie about her reporting on the misconduct executed during the financial crisis by Bear Stearns executives in the RMBS space.
